BY BUS

There are several buses leaving from the airport, to get to the centre take Bus zum Westbahnhof (one stop at Südbahnhof before you get there)
At Südbahnhof there is the bus 13 a to get to hotels at the 6 th and 8 th district.
At Westbahnhof access to the underground line 3 and 6

Bus zum Schwedenplatz
Access to the underground line 1 and 4, tram 1

The bus-tickets are sold by the driver and can not be used for Vienna public transport, the price is about 6 €, there are buses every 20 minutes.

Tickets for public transport can be bought at automats available at underground-stations or inside the trams.

BY FEDERAL RAILWAY

There is a railway station at the airport (downstairs after the station of CAT).
It is best to take a train that stops at Praterstern.
There is access to underground line 1 and 2.
The tickets are available at automats before descending by escalator to the platform. This automat sells also tickets to the public transport in Vienna.

A train-ticket plus tram-ticket can by bought (2zones).

The tickets cost about 4€, there are trains every half hour.

BY CAT

This direct train goes to Wien-Mitte, there is access to underground 3 and 4.

Tickets cost 9€ , trains every half hour. This is only recommendable to reach hotels at the 3 rd district around Stadtpark.

BY AIRPORT TAXI

There is a service available that can be contacted by e-mail. Cars are sent to meet customers at the arrival area, costs are for a destination in Vienna for up to 3 persons 29 €.
